Eliminate Manual Payroll Requests with MCM’s File Transfer Program

Automated Payroll File Transfers:

 

• MCM now offers clients the ability to no longer complete manual wage request forms. Instead, you can transmit a ‘payroll dump’ at the end of each pay period automatically and MCM will pick-off data needed for tax credit purposes. This automated feature can be used with our Online WOTC program and programs using paper WOTC forms, as well.

 

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE CLIENTS TO TRANSITION TO AUTOMATED PAYROLL TRANSFERS TO ENJOY THE FOLLOWING PROCESS BENEFITS:

 

• Reduced workload for payroll. No more quarterly wage requests to look up, including archived payroll for certifications that may be delayed due to state backlogs.
• File transfers to MCM’s Secure web portal and accepted in multiple formats depending on client preferences. Speak to us about the secure transfer methodology and format that works best for you.
• Payroll transfers can be limited to non-exempt personnel, at the client’s request, or data can be accepted that includes a mask over the names of exempt personnel to maximize privacy.
• Data can be purged for non-WOTC personnel on a schedule requested by clients.

 

In addition to ‘process’ benefits, THERE ARE SUBSTANTIAL TAX CREDIT SAVINGS BENEFITS ASSOCIATED WITH AUTOMATED PAYROLL TRANSFERS.

 

• Enhanced Reporting:  Receipt of these files including not only wage information but new hire data will enable MCM to provide clients with regular COMPLIANCE REPORTS that will compare actual hires with those going through the tax credit identification process. We will identify and report those locations performing their responsibilities properly and those that are not fully complying. With your permission, we will follow-up with non-complying locations and/or escalate them with our clients, who will now have documented facts to manage a more robust process. Our business process consultant estimates that clients who follow-through on compliance reporting can increase credit saving substantially.
• Other Credit and Incentive Opportunities: Receipt of regular new hire data will give MCM information on hiring trends that may be used to look at other credits, typically available on the state level, that relate to hiring. Of course, we will consult with you and receive written approval before we pursue additional opportunities.
